I had given up on it a while ago and stopped trying since nothing I ever attempted to draw in that style came out looking like a steaming pile of horse poo. But now I've discovered a website with helpful tutorials here. If anyone is interested in Animanga styles, you should definitely invest some time into these super cool tutorials.

In other news, commissions are still in the drafting process. I'll most likely do them eventually when I work out my prices. At the moment, Im in the process of packing and moving into a new house. So starting right now would be a bit unwise. However, if anyone would like to work out a deal for a piece, just throw me a message and we'll see what we can work out. Remember that if and when I do commissions, there is a strong chance I will ask for cash (US Dollars).

Thats all for now. Thanks for reading.

First, I'd like you to read this post.

Due to this, my phobia of something like that happening to me or anyone else I am close to has gone right back up. Im going to be slapping watermarks on my pieces (once again) in addition to my signature on the images. The last thing I want is some retail store stealing my designs without my permission and making a profit off of it. I'd advise everyone take measures to protect your art as well because art theft is real. Its something we can't escape no matter what. And the better your art is, the higher quality it is, the more likely its going to be snatched right from under your nose. I've seen it happen time and time again on this site and of course, DeviantArt will do nothing about it, as they always have.

TL;DR
Protect your art! Watermark it, sign it!

So landscaping didnt work out.... :D

It wasnt all for naught, however. I figured out that I can at least wrap my head around rock textures a bit. But thats about as far as I went before I rage-quit. However! I'm going to try my hand at something a little easier to grasp. Anatomy study! Im going to attempt to study the anatomy of both male and women. But male comes first because I find them a little easier than females.

I have also been considering doing paid requests/commissions. I figured if Im going to be designing something for people, I dont want points. I want real money that I can use. I havent worked out all the kinks yet, but I am considering drawing and/or designing a character via description or reference by the client. Though the chances of there being a full on background is very, very low. I'm a concept artist for namely humans and animals/creatures. I plan to work on that in the future however. Im still unsure when I'll start doing this, but it is definitely being given thorough thought.

There will possibly be more adoptables in the distant or near future as well. They'll less likely be fundraisers and more likely just be a little pocket change for myself.

So... I've decided that I'm going to attempt to practice landscapes. As you may have noticed, I'm mostly a character concept artist. My pieces never have backgrounds, and if they do, they are extremely minimal. I do not, and never have specialized in landscape painting. So I've concluded to further my studies in digital media, I will attempt to create landscapes. This could go either, really, really good, or really really bad. But practice makes perfect right? In conclusion to this journal, if anyone finds any decent/helpful landscaping tutorials (they don't have to be exclusive to dA), please, please, please throw me a bone and link it to me! It would be much appreciated if these tuts be respective to the Paint Tool Sai program. But if it is not, then that's okay too. Be it simple enough, I might be able to work around that small factor.

Maybe.

Apologies

1 min read
I apologize for the long absence. Though I'm happy to inform you that I have been drawing more and more lately thanks to a certain group of people. I'm slowing getting over my phobia of my art being stolen as well. I think I'll be posting a little more on here now that I feel I have a purpose to draw again. I can safely say that joining an artistic-roleplay community has boosted my muse and you'll definitely be seeing more of me on here gradually. Lastly I want to thank all of my watchers, and those of you who watched me even when you've seen I havent posted in ages. Thank you very much for taking the time to look at my pieces!
